Still in Cairns with no escape. Neil at conference so spent the day reading Bill Bryson and a little bit of shopping. Bought a hat and some glasses.

Sat by the pool in factor 30 today (also bought a vat of that today, the excitement) still no colour.

Bryson book is Down Under, its very funny and much better read than lonely planet one.

Went for a meal at Cairns Courthouse Hotel and a lovely waitress gave us a few suggestions for our trip out in the car:- Palm cove and then the skyrail cable car thing. The ozzies are all reall nice.
